Mark and Debra Naimy have been involved in foreign missions work since 1994 when they established the first permanent Apostolic missions work on the island of St. Vincent, West Indies (in partnership with co-missionaries Eric and Cyrlene Rodriguez who are still doing a great work there.)
In late 1995, the Naimys returned to the U.S. and started a church in Salida, Colorado. After pastoring there for 3 1/2 years, they relocated to Colorado Springs, where they founded Jordan's Crossing Apostolic Church, which they pastored for more than 9 years.
Brother Naimy first visited the Philippines in 2006 upon the invitation of Rev. M.L. Walls, World Missions Director for the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ. During that time, he received a distinct call from God to the Philippines.
The first Apostolic missionaries arrived in the mid 1950's. Many sacrificed beyond measure to bring the gospel to this land. As a result of their labors, it is now estimated that perhaps 1,000,000 people there have experienced the full New Testament salvation experience of repentance, water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit. (John 3:3-5, Acts 2:1-4, 38, 8:16, 10:44-48, 19:1-6).
The ALJC Philippines currently has 73 churches plus many preaching points scattered throughout the Philippines. We are very proud of the job our 113 national ministers are doing to bring the gospel to their precious people. The spiritual climate in most of our churches is vibrant and healthy. Evangelism is foremost on virtually every pastor’s agenda. The work is growing, and God is pouring out His Spirit in a wonderful way. Since 2009, more than 5,000 souls have been baptized in Jesus name and more than 3,000 have received the baptism of the Holy Ghost in our churches. We believe that much greater things are in store, but we must develop and deploy many more national ministers in order to fulfill Jesus’ commission for us to reach this country, 80+% of which remains in the darkness of Catholicism. This is why our greatest priority is establishing Bible Colleges. The Apostolic Bible College of the Philippines has been in operation in the Philippines since August 2010.
The Philippines is by American standards, a very poor country. The vast majority of our pastors (and most of their constituents) live in extremely tough financial conditions. The common wage for workers in the Philippines is $5-10/day. In spite of this, their outlook is upbeat and their faith in God is high!
We believe the Philippines holds a unique place in God’s plan for worldwide evangelism. There are sizeable populations of Filipinos in almost every country of the world, including many areas which are next to impossible for Americans to evangelize. We believe the day will come when many foreign missions works will emanate from the Philippines to other countries throughout the world.
Please prayerfully consider partnering with us to reach the country of the Philippines! We need both your financial support and your prayers. Without finances, we simply cannot continue the work. Prayer is the greatest need of the hour! Fervent focused prayer moves God, affects natural events, and changes the paths of men! You can have a part in the great end time revival in the Philippines!
Thanks, and God bless you!
Mark, Debra and Sarah Naimy
Your support will enable us to train workers, build churches and send missionaries.
